I’ve got an Iphone!

My 10 days working trip to Taiwan really burnt a pocket in my hole. The reason: I've got my new Iphone 3G 16 GB there . It costs me about NT$26000 which is approximately MYR2,800 (depending on the exchange rate). To most of you, you might think the iPhone is expensive, but really it is very affordable over in Taiwan at that time I'm getting it. Lowyat forumers are selling the 16GB unit at about MYR3000 to MYR3300 which is from SingTel or from Hong Kong.

After a week I got my iPhone, I've decided to jailbreak it. Initially I was reluctant to do so, since jailbreak is considered a hack on my iPhone and wasn't sure whether it was safe or not (after I've done some research, it's safe to jailbreak iPhones), after doing it, I can't live without jailbroken apps. Jailbreaking iPhones are highly recommended by all users who owned the iPhone or iPod touch. It not only offers the ability to access the iPhone with more features but also there are a plenty of useful softwares available from the hardcore iPhone developers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not promoting any piracy here but because there are paid iPhone jailbreak apps available which is truely make your iPhone shines.

The recent hype about iphones making me wonder whether people actually buying the phone solely for its functions or just a fashion gimmick to boast their status. I have to admit even myself is at the urge of getting one. I can tell you if we were to compare the Iphone3G with any of the last PDA phone in the market, the iphone3G functions are not anywhere near those new and hot PDA such as the HTC Diamond.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to get a new Iphone soon, not sure when but I'm sure pretty soon somebody will be going to Australia or Hong Kong to get me an unit to try out the cult phone. muaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ha haaa....:)

A New Look!

Recently my old blog has been spammed to death. I've more than 6000+ comments of junks which is really annoying and causing a huge increase in my database usage. So, I've deleted the old one and I've created a new blog with a new design. Just stay tune!
